    Four year-old Jathum Kenison has been doing his part to fight Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) since he was diagnosed four months ago. Part of that effort has meant long weekly trips to the Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. His treatment, including blood transfusions and chemotherapy almost every week at Primary Children’s Hospital is expected to take three years.

That atmosphere was exchanged for laughter and fun, pizza, games and balloons when the summer reading program children and their families congregated at Humboldt County Library last Thursday afternoon for a pizza party and prizes to honor the readers and volunteers that made the summer program such a success.
